I often contemplate on
life with a capital “ L ” .The river of your life and my life that
flows into the sea are nothing but ripples and wavelets , a small “ l ” . Like the river which is the “ Rab “ of life of ripples and
wavelets , the cherish-er and the sustain-er .So are our lives ( individual lives
)cherished and nourished by life with a capital “ L ” .
Life with a capital “ L” is not the totality of all lives .
There is no light without and light within the Sun . The Sun is the creator (as
it creates many organisms by its heat ) , the sustain-er (as many things
sustains by its light )and also the destroyer ( we see things being destroyed
due to over exposure to the Sun ), so we can say all energy , all productivity and all creativity comes from the sun . The gross manifestation of the subtle embodiment of light comes from the sun. There is also a Sun of Truth (HAQUE) through which you can have a reflection in the core of your being .Now with the light of this Sun you can see all within you , and this is the point .When you look at things with this light , not in this light , all contradictions and dualities disappear .
The unity and light (not the combination ) is known as SIGHT ( NAZAR). This sight is present somewhere on the face of this world . Becoming this sight turns one into being .
This is KUN-FAYAKOON becoming is the river and being is the manifestation .In this spacious-temporal universe , this unity of life and light is love ,with a capital " L " .
This concept of love protects me from doing evils and grants me the love of poor and down-trodden . I ask ALLAH to forgive me and have mercy on me and whenever He intends to put the nation to test with evil then lift me up before it to protect my people from it . "O ALLAH! Grant me your love and the love of those whom you love ".
